Young People Taking Action is a charity that creates opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop skills and play an active role in their communities.
We believe young people should be listened to, supported and given meaningful opportunities to shape the issues that affect their lives.
Who we are
Young People Taking Action brings together young people, volunteers, community organisations and local partners.
Our aim is to create welcoming and inclusive opportunities where young people can take part, contribute their ideas and develop their potential.
We want young people to feel valued, connected and confident about the difference they can make.
What we do
We support young people through activities, projects and opportunities that help them learn, participate and take action.
Our work may include:
creating safe and welcoming opportunities for young people to meet and take part;
helping young people build confidence, practical skills and leadership experience;
supporting young people to share their views and influence decisions;
working with local organisations and communities to create new opportunities; and
enabling young people to take action on issues that matter to them.
